My Final Stop Motion Movie

For my final stop motion movie i created a clip in the studio using two people. The theme was a slow dance - i had two people dancing arm in arm along with one having a rose in her mouth.
Over all i took 59 photos while doing this clip using a Cannon 5D camera and the studio lights. After i had taken all of the photos for my clip i had to decided which music i would want to add to my film and how fast i would want it all to link together.
To put my clip together i worked on imovie:
Here i am linking together all my photos - i had to rotate the photos and fit them to the right size image. I made all my photos last 0.25 seconds so that it would work as a film. After i had done this i needed to then add music:
My total clip of music was too much as i only had a short clip so i need to trim out what little bit of music i wanted playing in the background of my photos.
MY MOVIE:
My final movie - I really like this clip i have created, i think it is a very catchy movie and the music worked really well as it was a slow romantic dance - the music i used was (Time Of  My Life by Dirty Dancing) I am really pleased with my final outcome.
Things that could be improved if i had the chance would be maybe have matching outfits that also fit in well with the theme and setting. I might also make my clip a little bit longer so i could get more of the song in so you could get a real effect of it. For this clip i took 59 photos and i would like to aim next time to take about 80.
But i am pleased with my final outcome i think it worked well and was quite easy to create and i think it is a very creative piece.

Stop Motion Movies

Here are some of the Stop Motion movies that we made during our task today:
The first one shown here 'Dropping Leaves'
Descriptions of each movie are shown in the boxes below.
The next Stop motion film we created was 'Hug - Feel so close to you'
We used the music 'Feel so close to you - buy Calvin Harris' for this shoot because we thought the music was relevant to the image that we were trying to create and they work really well together.

Making a stop motion film In class.

For this task we were asked to go out and create some stop frame mini movies. I worked in a group with two other people and over all we made about 4 different movies.
* The first one which is my favorite one we have me and someone else walking towards each other - one person was walking down the steps and the other person was walking towards them. The two people knew each other so when they met in the middle they gave each other a hug.
* For the second one we had two people running towards the camera in slow motion - as they became closer the face expressions became larger and showed off more what was happening. But i don't think this one was as good as the first one because running in slow motion was quite hard so it made us look rather strange in the photos.
* For the third one we had to people standing at the bottom of some steps - They were again meant to come across as friends. What happened was there were lots of leaves and in the movie the two people went down to pick up the leaves and when they came back up they threw the leaves up in the air. I liked this movie and thought it worked really well.
* For the forth movie we came up with a simple idea of two people just normally walking/talking along a path and then one of them dropped something (keys) and at that stage they both went down to pick them up and carried on walking afterwards. I think this could have been made better by making the scene a bit more exciting with a bit more happening in it and also if we thought about it more.
